Individual therapy with adults. In person, online and by phone.

QUALIFICATIONS
Dr. Tougas is a psychologist and member of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec (OPQ). She obtained her doctorate in clinical psychology (D. Psy.) at the University of Montréal. She trained in clinical psychology with an adult clientele at the University of Montréal's psychology clinic as well as in the cognitive-behavioural therapy service of the Jewish General Hospital.
APPROACH
Dr. Tougas offers a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive space. She helps her clients better understand their current struggles, highlight their strengths and resources, and gain the skills they need to improve and maintain their well-being.
Her collaborative and integrative approach is founded on cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) and humanistic/intersubjective principles. She also draws on a variety of other techniques, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and motivational interviewing, to tailor her approach to each client’s needs and goals and help them achieve meaningful and durable change.
