QUALIFICATIONS
Ege is currently pursuing a PhD in Clinical Psychology at McGill Psychology. During her training, Ege has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including the MUHC Compulsive and Related Disorders Unit, MUHC Mood and Anxiety Disorders Program, Eating Disorders Program at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute, and the Youth Service at the Jewish General Hospital.
APPROACH
Ege believes in the importance of providing a warm and non-judgemental therapeutic atmosphere to promote positive and meaningful change. She strives to help her clients gain insight regarding their difficulties and develop concrete tools to achieve their goals. Ege's therapeutic approach is integrative and draws on a variety of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT). She tailors her approach to the individual needs of the client, cultivating a supportive and collaborative relationship.
