Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), depression, stress and anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), traumatic brain injury, aging-related difficulties, pain, chronic illness, infertility, perinatal difficulties (postpartum depression, attachment difficulties), adjustment issues, life transitions and grief, emotional regulation difficulties, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), identity-related difficulties (neurodiversity, low self-confidence or self-esteem), and relationship difficulties.

QUALIFICATIONS

Dr. Anne Julien-Rocheleau completed a PhD in Clinical Psychology at Concordia University. She has received extensive training in both university and hospital settings, working individually and in group formats with adults presenting with mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-related difficulties, and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

 

Her clinical experience includes evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions with individuals facing complex psychological and medical challenges, including severe health conditions (cardiac illness, heart transplantation, cystic fibrosis) as well as perinatal and obstetric contexts. She has also received specialized training in cognitive behavioural therapies for anxiety-related conditions and in the assessment of ADHD in adults. In addition, she conducts neuropsychological assessments with both outpatient and inpatient populations.

Dr. Julien is a member of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec. She has also been practicing at
at the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) since 2022, where she works within the Neuropsychology Service and the Module for Evaluation and Liaison(MEL).

APPROACH

Dr. Julien’s therapeutic approach is integrative and client-centred, drawing from evidence-based treatment models tailored to each individual’s needs. She places particular importance on creating a warm, collaborative, and respectful therapeutic environment to help clients achieve their goals.
